Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a comedian and actor recognized for her witty sense of humor. She plays April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. Her web series debut was The Jeannie Tate Show in which she performed sketch, improv and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she went on to star in Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza, the firm of an attorney as well as David Plaza, a financial specialist. Her birthplace was in Wilmington Delaware. Her mother was Irish and English, while her father hails from Puerto Rico. Plaza is a graduate from an Catholic All-Girls School in 2002. She graduated in 2005 from Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She served as president of the student government at the high school, and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her time as a senior. Plaza is at the end of her university career at that time, suffered an aphasia-like expressive disorder and was paralyzed. She's now completely recovered. Plaza is a performer of improv as well as sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. Additionally, in NYC, she's been performing stand-up comedy in stand-up comedy at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show as well as the debut episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. Troopers on CollegeHumor, Plaza played the Princess in a satirical sci-fi roleplaying character. Plaza began playing saxophones on Cassorla's Bona Fide (2014). The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. As Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared in The HarmonQuest's HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. She also portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History, and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds is a television serial. Her triumphant return to the role she played in the 12th season of Criminal Minds. The following year, it was confirmed that Plaza will be appearing in the indie comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
