Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in television. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. Soon after, she moved to Texas and completed her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly moved in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including independent local commercials and films. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering that she loved acting. After moving from New York, in 2001 she landed her first acting role for the television show All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major series was on The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This particular character has earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory who is Italian by descent. Her family was a very traditional and religious one. Milano was just seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials in both Broadway and on TV as well, such as the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
