Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. After that, she switched to TV and film. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's, she was given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler appeared as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was another of her roles. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. She also had a role in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio dramas. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the series.
